Measuring Brain Activity with Melatonin

Measuring Brain Activity with Melatonin

We measured brainwave activity before and after using Inhale Health Melatonin. Here's what we found:

Participants showed significant increase in theta wave (calm/relaxed state) activity.

Participants had brain calming effects shown by a reduction in electrophysiological activity.

Participants had a decrease in beta waves (alert/engaged) state in their brain.

What are Theta waves?

Theta activity has a frequency of 3.5 to 7.5 Hz and is classed as “slow” activity. It is seen in connection with creativity, intuition, daydreaming, and fantasizing and is a repository for memories, emotions, sensations. Theta waves are strong during internal focus, meditation, prayer, and spiritual awareness.

According to this study, increased sleepiness is associated with decreased alpha wave power and increased theta wave power.

RESEARCH: Decreased electrophysiological activity represents the conscious state of emptiness in meditation

Brain activity measurements before and after using Melatonin:

Inhale Health Melatonin Brain VoltageElectrophysiological activity was measured before(pre) and after(post) Melatonin usage. Participants experienced brain calming effects due to reduction in voltage measured.
Inhale Health Melatonin Reaction TimeBrain reaction time was measured before(pre) and after(post) Melatonin usage. The results present extended brain reaction times.
